Bananas In Coconut Milk

A deliciously creamy dessert that can also be made with mangoes or pineapple.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Bananas

  • 400ml Thai Taste Coconut Milk

  • 50g Thai Taste Palm Sugar

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 3 tbsp White Sesame Seeds - roasted

Preparation

Step 1


In a large pan of boiling water, add the whole bananas with the skin on for about 20 minutes, then peel and cut into bite-sized pieces.



Step 2


Mix coconut milk, sugar and salt together in a small saucepan. Stir over a low heat until the sugar dissolves.



Step 3


Add the banana pieces and continue to boil until the mixture seeps into the bananas.



Step 4


Serve in bowls with sesame seeds sprinkled on top.

Chef's Tip

Use unripened bananas for best results.
